On World Sepsis Day, ShardaCare - Healthcity conducted the Sepsis Life Savers Skills Course

On World Sepsis Day, ShardaCare - Healthcity conducted the Sepsis Life Savers Skills Course on Sunday, 13 September 2026, empowering 45 nurses as Sepsis Champions.

Conceptualised by Dr. Anil Kumar, Director & Head, Department of Medical ICU, this awareness and academic initiative brought together eminent speakers from across Delhi NCR. The structured programme featured practical sessions on sepsis care, clinical triggers, antimicrobial stewardship, case-based learning and first-hour sepsis management.

Three interactive skills stations provided hands-on training in the early recognition and management of sepsis. The initiative also extended awareness beyond healthcare professionals, engaging the public and non-medical staff through demonstrations on sepsis progression, critical interventions and the importance of hand and personal hygiene.
